our little jedi
I bought this little sleeper for Will before he was born and Brett referred to it as his "dress" since it doesn't have legs. Now that he's seen it on Will I think it's one of his favourites - easy for diaper changes AND the added bonus of him looking like a jedi master. Does it get better than that?
william rocks the striped hat
This is one of Will's cutest outfits and the onesie is already almost too small!
He's a growing boy!

a superb startle reflex
We're glad we were able to get shots of Will's startle reflex.
It's too funny! Poor little guy - like most babies, he startles easily!

the arrival of william angus lougheed
On May 15th at 10:58 am Brett and I finally met our son, William Angus Lougheed. Due to William being in a breech position he ended up arriving via c-section after an attempt at an external version did not work to put him into a head down position. When he was born he measured 20 inches long and weighed 8lbs 10oz. Even though a c-section was not ideal, we are thrilled to have William with us. He is healthy and beautiful. So far, he is a very good natured baby which makes the lack of sleep much easier to manage!

oh, that oliver!
Oliver has been having a hard time cuddling up to me with the increased belly size (mine, not his). But this morning he was determined to cuddle and he eventually found a cuddly spot. Not so convenient, mind you, but he was comfy so I tolerated it for a few minutes. And, yes, I know I look far from stellar in these shots but they are too funny not to post.

the nursery
This is a short video tour of our nursery. I think it will be a cozy and happy place for our little one.
week 38
This is the latest shot of baby and Denise. I'm thinkin' this might be a good sized baby! By the way, the photo was taken in the now completed nursery! YAY!
