Then Mr. Tough Guy morphed into Mr. Debonair, otherwise known as the 3rd stage of the beard's demise. Thankfully this stage lasted for only an hour or so. I am happy to report that, except for his five o'clock shadow, Brett is now free of facial hair.

When Brett's luggage didn't arrive with him in Fredericton at Christmas he ended up going 5 days without his shaving kit so he decided to grow a beard for a while. This was the beard a month later when he could stand it no more. Man, that first photo is off-putting.
